This Brown Sporran features tied leather tassels that decorate the front of the rugged pebble-grain pouch, which is 7-1/2″ × 8″ when closed. This sporran has a unique tied thong button flap closure and comes complete with a 40-1/2" leather belt. Approximate weight is 14 oz.

The Sporran (Scottish Gaelic for ‘purse’) is a traditional part of Scottish Highland dress. It is a pouch that performs the same function as pockets on the pocketless Scottish kilt. It is worn on a chain or hung from a kilt belt, conventionally lying in front of the groin of the wearer.
