Black Sporran w/ Braided Tassels
The Sporran (Scottish Gaelic for ‘purse’) is a traditional part of Scottish Highland dress. It is a pouch that performs the same function as pockets on the pocketless Scottish kilt. It is worn on a chain or hung from a kilt belt, conventionally lying in front of the groin of the wearer.
A trio of leather tassels decorate the front of this rugged pebble-grain pouch, which is 6-3/4″ × 7-3/4" when closed. Comes complete with a 46" leather belt. Approximate weight is 14 oz. The front flap has steel snap.
